After a few days of a lot of work, I had to get back to training. So I asked Augustus if he wanted to come along for an overnight run. Even if femundløpet is on and it is tempting to do some table mushing.

We packed gear & 11 dogs and off we went. Sheri babysits puppies. Starting off at Connex at 20.30 with two teams, fortunately two others had broken trail just before us. We caught up with Tor after a couple of hours - and took a long round and returned to his lavvo. He invited us to stay,  so we did not have to pitch tents, just get all the dogs hitched up in the VERY deep snow, and get the gear & food inside. His puppy Jack shared the tent and ate the sausages almost out of the bopiler......

The wakeup feeding , getting started and return trip uneventful except that one runner plastic came off, but this lady dosn't ever travel without tools....so quick fix. Good, fast, not so long training run with heavy loaded sled...and all the dogs.

LOTS of snow, just LOTS!
